A new study has ranked Florida as one of the safest states to live in the United States.

The study, conducted by HomeSnacks, analyzed 204 cities with more than 5,000 inhabitants. They took into account important factors, such as property crime and violent crime per capita for each locality, from Jacksonville to Miami.

Florida was ranked as the third safest state, behind only Vermont and Maine. The cities of Sattellite Beach and Marco Island were ranked the two safest cities in the state, with Kay Biscayne and Weston also making the top ten. This is good news for Floridians as it indicates that the state is a safe place to live.
